After traveling over 5,000 miles on a motorcycle this summer, the mantra, “everything mechanical will break” began to hold some truth. The marine grade double USB mounted on the handle bars – broke down after 6-7 days, I had to then revert to a battery pack in the handle bar case. Recharging that and my other devices in National Park cafes, gas stations became quite a nuisance.
Basically, we are dependent on our phone and devices now, especially when adventuring – get something good and that will get you out of a pinch. These solar panels are cheap and a low pressure way to keep your devices charged or stable while using them out and about.
